I’m Tai! I’m a down to earth, self-proclaimed organization junkie, and small business owner in the Houston area specializing in wedding planning and coordination.
As a proud wife, busy “Boy Mom,” and former engineer, I truly relish any opportunity to surround myself with flowers, pretty dresses, and lots of sparkly things. Luckily for me, being a part of the wedding community has afforded me opportunities to find myself in glamorous settings.
I began planning weddings in 2001 as a way of helping out friends who were getting married shortly after my own wedding experience. I immediately loved everything about it! It was so much fun to “run the race” alongside fellow brides as we selected their wedding gowns, flower arrangements, and hair and makeup looks. It was then that I also realized that I was good at having the “baton passed” to me to handle the more intricate, mundane—but necessary—planning details that most people typically tried to avoid. Not only was I good at planning the less desired details, but I thrived at getting them done efficiently and with the least amount of disruption to my clients’ everyday lives.
Ultimately, I have been fortunate enough to develop an extensive client list of busy, professional brides (and grooms) who have often juggled full-time careers alongside advanced graduate school studies in the healthcare, engineering, science and technology, consulting, and financial industries. I consider myself to be a business partner, planning beautiful events in a stress-free environment that is conducive to a burgeoning executive lifestyle.
I am so proud of my clients! I love seeing them grow professionally and thrive in new business ventures. My client experiences have uniquely influenced Aisle Runners to function in a way that encourages ALL of their endeavors: from their family to their financial goals, and from their courtship to their careers. I consider it an incredible honor to witness beautiful moments in the lives of great people with even greater plans. I love infinite possibilities and thinking outside of the box. I thrive in situations where I can make seemingly impossible goals a possibility for all and truly enjoy the process of figuring out how to make it happen. Why Aisle Runners?
Aisle Runners was created from a need for time-efficient event planning services for busy working professionals in the Houston area. Our goal is to maintain the delicate balance between our clients’ dreams, personal time constraints, and finances. We strive to create a planning environment that is not only conducive to our clients’ current lifestyles, but also complementary to their very own “happily ever after”.
We believe that once our clients’ needs are clearly communicated to us, we can truly hit the ground running. The repeated use of our shoe imagery became an unofficial visual for the brand many years ago. The subtle use of our high heeled “running shoes” are not only used to show a play on words with the company name Aisle Runners with activity surrounding a ceremony aisle runner— but we feel that beautiful bridal shoes are a great representation of how our events are run. With the integrity of the marriage ceremony being paramount, we strive to express how our poised interactions with our clients, outside vendors, family and wedding party members, etc. are also important.
Our job is to highlight the life-changing event that our couples are about to experience, while we handle the smallest details to the largest tasks. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile for our clients, providing unparalleled one-on-one planning and coordination services in beautiful environments.
At Aisle Runners, we also understand that weddings are multi-functional. With a couple’s love and commitment to one another being paramount, we also know that weddings are a time in which families, friends, diverse cultures and communities are also brought together. A wedding can also be a time in which business professionals may also be charged with the task of hosting future and current employers, business partners, and colleagues. No matter who is in attendance, we create an environment you can relax in.
